Student Policy

Late Arrival Policy

If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. If the teacher is delayed by more than 10 minutes, the session will be extended or rescheduled at no extra cost.

No-Show Policy

If a student does not attend the session without prior notice, the session is considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless supported by a documented emergency. Please contact us directly in such instances.

Illness & Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies may arise. In such cases, please contact us directly as soon as possible so we can offer appropriate support and make necessary arrangements at hello@singingphenomena.com.

Parent/Guardian Attendance (for students under 18)

​For students under 18, one parent or guardian may observe the class. Observers may not interrupt or interfere with the lesson while the lesson is in session. Should it be necessary, the teacher may ask the observer to wait outside the lesson room.

Media & Recording Policy

​Audio and video recordings may be taken during sessions to support the student’s learning and development. These recordings may also be used in our social media and promotional materials. By booking a class, you consent to this use unless you inform us in writing (email) stating otherwise.

Harassment Policy

​We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. We ask all students and parents to treat our staff with mutual respect. If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, please contact us immediately at hello@singingphenomena.com.

Liability Disclaimer

By attending a Singing Phenomena class, participants acknowledge and accept that:

  • Participation is voluntary and at their own risk.

  • Singing Phenomena is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur during the course of the class.

  • Participants are encouraged to be mindful of their own well-being and to inform the instructor of any limitations or concerns prior to the session.

  • We are also not responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings. Please keep your items secure at all times.

Transaction Policy

Scheduling & Booking Policy

All singing classes must be booked at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance. All events, workshops, and masterclasses must be booked prior to the start of the respective event. Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required upon booking to secure your session. We accept payment via bank transfer, Stripe, or PayPal. Classes are not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class to avoid any penalties.

  • Customers may reschedule their class at no additional cost, provided the change is made more than 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a penalty fee, up to the full cost of the session.
     

Exception - Singing Class Bundle Policy:

  • If you have purchased a Singing Class Bundle, you have three (3) months from the date of purchase to schedule and complete your sessions.

  • Classes purchased under the Singing Class Bundle are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling is permitted within the package validity period; however, all sessions must be used within the original three (3) month validity.

  • Unused classes after the validity period will be forfeited.

This policy ensures fairness for all participants and helps us maintain the quality of our classes.

Promo Code & Discount Policy

Promo codes and discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other offers unless otherwise stated.

Class/Workshop Cancellation by the Organiser

In the rare case that a class or workshop must be cancelled by Singing Phenomena due to unforeseen emergencies or low sign-ups:

  • All registered participants will be notified in writing.

  • A full refund will be issued to all affected participants if there is no rescheduling available.

  • Participants will also be informed of any potential rescheduling or alternative arrangements.

Privacy Policy

Thank you for examining our Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy governs our website, including all modifications, enhancements or updates thereto (“Platform”) as operated by Singing Phenomena LLP. Terms used herein shall, unless otherwise defined, bear the same meanings as in our Terms of Use, which may be found at Terms of Use.

Your privacy is especially important to us, and we are committed to maintaining your trust. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, and process your personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand what we do. If you do not understand any aspects of our Privacy Policy, please feel free to contact us at hello@singingphenomena.com For the avoidance of doubt, we will not share your personally identifiable information except as provided herein.

By accessing or using our Platform, you shall be deemed to have accepted to be legally bound by and consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy either in your individual capacity or as a parent or legal guardian. Your continued use of our Platform after any changes to this Privacy Policy, whether reviewed by you, shall constitute your consent and acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our Platform.

If you are a child or minor below the age of 18 years, please inform and seek the consent of your parent or legal guardian before you provide your personal data to us. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you have reason to believe your child or ward has provided us with their personal data without your consent, please contact us to remove, destroy or delete their personal data.

Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

We may collect the following personal data from you:

  • Your account information including your name, address, date of birth, email address and telephone number, as well as service-related information such as bank and credit card details when you register with us. 

  • Device and connection information. We collect device-specific information when you access or use our Platform. This includes information such as the hardware model, operating system information, browser information, IP address, mobile network information including phone number and device identifiers;

  • Usage and log information. We collect service-related, diagnostic, and performance information when you use our Platform. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our Platform, how you interact with other users using our, etc), log files, and diagnostic, crash and performance logs and reports

  • Your attendance records and usage of our Platform. We collect your attendance records, progress, and completion of our online lessons, seminars, webinars, events, or service offerings.

  • Your usage of our Platform. To improve our performance and for quality and training purposes, we may retain records of your voice, likeness, and image (e.g., in the form of photographs or video and audio recordings) while you use our Platform

  • Voluntarily provided information. We collect voluntarily provided information to us, such as when you register with us or post or share any content on the Platform;

  • Customer support and feedback. We collect copies of your messages and how to contact you to provide customer support when you contact us with queries or provide feedback to us on your use of our Platform

  • Transactional information. If you pay for our services, we may receive information and confirmations, such as payment receipts, including from app stores or other third parties processing your payment

  • Third-Party providers. We work with third-party providers to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customise, support and market our Platform. These providers may provide us information about you in certain circumstances;

  • Third-Party services. We may allow you to use our Platform in connection with third-party services. Please note that when you use third-party services, their own terms and privacy policies will govern your use of those services.

 

We may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

  • setting up your registered user account and profile on the Platform;

  • to provide and improve our Platform, including informing you of any change or updates to our Platform;

  • to organise the data to allow you to view, manage your information, or to help you visualise your data;

  • for targeted online marketing;

  • for accounting, billing, and verification purposes;

  • to contact you regarding any complaints, feedback, queries, requests, claims or disputes;

  • to facilitate investigations into or to take action regarding any suspicious or illegal activity on the Platform;

  • for internal review, business improvement, and quality and training purposes;

  • for internal administrative and management purposes;

  • where required by any act, statute, law, or regulation, rules, directives, or by the order of a government authority or a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction; such other purposes as consented to by you; and any other purpose reasonably related to the aforesaid.

 

We may disclose your personal data to our partners, service providers, contractors, select vendors and affiliates whom we have engaged to provide our services, to maintain the Platform or to protect the security or integrity of the Platform and our databases. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to us, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

We may also share your personal data with our affiliates, subsidiaries and parent companies, industry regulators and other government organisations as required by local law and regulations, financial institutions, research institutions for market analysis purposes, or other third parties in our partner network who we work with to deliver our services. In some cases, the information will be encrypted, anonymised or aggregated, whereby all identifying information has been removed, such that the remaining data does not identify any person.

Confidentiality

Save where expressly provided herein, we will not reveal to any person or company any personal data which may come to our knowledge hereunder and shall keep with complete secrecy the personal data provided by you and shall not use or attempt to use any such personal data in any manner without your permission. These restrictions shall cease to apply to information or knowledge which may come into the public domain other than as a result of any act or breach of this Privacy Policy by us.

Changing, Deleting, or Requesting Access to Your Personal Data

  • You may review and change your personal data in your account settings. We will not be responsible for any modification of your personal data specified in your account.

  • We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy and any applicable terms and conditions.

  • You have a limited right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal data, please send an access request email to hello@singingphenomena.com. There may be a small charge for this service.

  • We will take all reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data is accurate, complete, and up to date. If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example, if you change your email address or payment details, please let us know the correct details by changing your details in your account settings or sending an email to hello@singingphenomena.com. You may ask us, or we may ask you, to correct the information that you or we think is inaccurate, and you may also ask us to remove information that is inaccurate.

  • We may fulfil or reject your request in accordance with the PDPA. Please allow us a reasonable time to respond and/or effect any correction/request.

Protecting Your Personal Data

  • The security of your personal information is important to us. Your account information is protected by a password chosen by you. It is important that you protect against unauthorised access to your account and information by choosing your password carefully and keeping your password and computer or mobile device secure by signing out after using our Platform.

  • You should also take appropriate measures to keep your information, software, and equipment secure. This includes clearing your browser cookies and cache before and after using any services on the Platform.

  • Where appropriate, we will take reasonable security safeguards to protect your personal data against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Please be aware that the sending of information via the internet is not completely secure and on occasion, such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, and you send such information at your own risk. We do not accept liability for the security, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of any transaction and other communications made through the Platform.

  • Internet communications may be susceptible to interference or interception by third parties. Despite our best efforts, we make no warranties that the Platform is free of viruses or other unauthorised software.

Cookies

  • When you access third-party services or webpages through the Platform, such third parties may use cookies in connection with their operations or your use of their services. Cookies may transmit information about you, such as your IP address, data relating to advertisements that have been displayed to you and the date and time of your use. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session. Please refer to the privacy policies of such third parties to learn how they use cookies.

  • Third parties may also be able to associate the information they collect with other information they have about you from other sources. We do not have access to or control over the cookies that they use.

Changes to Privacy Policy

The terms of this Privacy Policy may be revised, changed, and updated from time to time to ensure it is consistent with our business requirements, industry trends and/or changes in legal or regulatory requirements. All changes will be posted within the Platform, and your continued access or use of the Platform after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Privacy Policy and all the changes. We, therefore, encourage you to read this Privacy Policy each time you access and use the Platform.

  • By accessing or using the Platform, you are deemed to have also accepted our Terms of Use.
